For those who have not been involved with Idas in product development you'll find this area exciting.

Our approach is different to others in that we never claim to be experts in everything. We do, however, know our business very well. You can trust us to get you the best technical advice available.

We have an extensive network of business partners we can tap into or, if you would prefer to deal with them on a one-to-one basis we will be happy to introduce you. These include finding packaging machinery, or a supplier for imported product from our extensive network of contacts in Europe and China.

In our tray business we can produce samples made up on a mock tool. This can be done for less than the cost of a return airfare between Christchurch and Auckland, while minor modifications to this prototype can be done for the price of lunch.

It is our belief that in developing new products theories just aren't good enough, we would rather run extensive trial programs with all our clients to ensure the product does exactly what we want it to do before we go commercial.

It takes a bit longer but the result is the right product, there are no surprises.
