The Idas Group started here over twenty years ago. Members of the meat industry came to us with a packaging problem, how to stop the sharp bone form piercing the barrier bag used to export our meat cuts around the world.

We invented the bone guard tray for them, as machinery to produce these trays was not available we just went out and made our own.

Innovation is a key driver here, every product you see here in this section of the catalogue has been developed to meet a specific customer need.

Have a great idea for a tray but would like to see a prototype? No problem, we have our own tool makers on site here at Idas.
